We invite young artists to participate in the International Children’s Art Competition & Awards “WE ARE THE WORLD,” which will take place on December 21, 2026, at 3:00 PM in Paris, at the Mairie du 13e arrondissement de Paris,
1 Place d’Italie, 75013 Paris.
Hosting WE ARE THE WORLD in Paris symbolizes a meeting between the creativity of today’s children and the timeless artistic heritage of France — a country that has played an important role in the history of world art and culture.
ABOUT THE PROJECT “WE ARE THE WORLD”
WE ARE THE WORLD is an international children’s art exhibition and competition project that, since 2018, has brought together talented young artists from more than 60 countries worldwide.
The project identifies and supports young artists, giving them opportunities to showcase their works in cultural and exhibition venues in different countries.
Over the years, exhibitions have been held at Carrousel du Louvre (Paris, France), National Opera Astana (Kazakhstan), House of Nationalities and the National Museum of Cosmonautics (Moscow, Russia), World Summit of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates (Seoul, South Korea), Ornate White Cube (London, UK), Opus Tower (Dubai, UAE), Sofitel Beverly Hills (Los Angeles, USA), Cultural Center of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in France (Paris), Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, Sofitel St. James (London), i-City (Kuala Lumpur), Yun Artified Art Center (Jakarta), Government Palace of Children and Youth (Minsk, Belarus), Lis Flower Hotel (Hsinchu, Taiwan), Art Gallery Vivienne (Paris), White Art Gallery (Los Angeles), International Art Museum Sunshine (Beijing, China), ArtArt Gallery (Florence, Italy) and other venues.
At our exhibitions and competitions, children have the opportunity to showcase their talent to an international audience, gain valuable artistic experience and develop confidence in their creative abilities.
Participation can also help young artists build a strong creative portfolio, which may be valuable when applying to art schools, universities and other creative programs.
We believe that one of the best gifts we can give children is opportunity and education.
Our exhibitions have welcomed artists, cultural leaders, government representatives, ambassadors, educators, representatives of international organizations and members of the cultural community from different countries.
And the brightest stars of our exhibitions are always the children.

This year, the theme of our exhibition is:
“ART UNITES THE WORLD”
Young artists are invited to interpret the theme freely and express their own vision through their creativity, imagination, emotions and cultural identity.

PARTICIPANTS’ AGE GROUPS
Young artists from 4 to 18 years old are welcome to participate.
- 4–8 years
- 9–13 years
- 14–18 years
ARTWORK FORMAT
A4 or A3
Artworks may be created on thick watercolor paper, canvas or in digital format.
If your artwork is larger than A3, you can send us a high-quality photograph or digital file, and our team will adapt it appropriately for the exhibition.
MATERIALS & TECHNIQUES
Pencil, marker, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, ink, oil, gouache or digital art — anything that inspires your young artist!
AI-generated artwork is not accepted.
PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
To participate, simply complete the registration form and submit your artwork through our official website:
If your artwork is selected for the exhibition, we will take care of the exhibition preparation:
- Printing the artwork on premium-quality paper
- Adjusting the artwork to the appropriate exhibition format
- Preparing an artwork label with the artist’s information and personal ID number
- Framing the artwork in an elegant black frame
- Preparing the artwork for professional exhibition display
PARTICIPATION FEE:
The participation fee includes all of the above, as well as:
The Standard €65 includes:
- An International Participant Certificate with a personal registration ID, signed by the President of WE ARE THE WORLD EVENTS
- The opportunity to receive a Diploma and Medal at the Awards Ceremony for participants attending in person
- Presentation of the selected artwork on the project’s social media
- Publication of the young artist’s name in the official list of participants of the Gala Exhibition
The Gold 130 € includes:
- An International Participant Certificate with a personal registration ID, signed by the President of WE ARE THE WORLD EVENTS
- Receive a personal letter of recommendation from the organizers and the International Jury for your portfolio
- The opportunity to receive a Diploma and Medal at the Awards Ceremony for participants attending in person
- Information of the young artist and artwork, his/her photo in our social media
- Publication of the young artist’s name in the official list of participants of the Gala Exhibition
- Participation in 2 exhibitions: this exhibition and the next exhibition in 2027.
WINNERS WILL RECEIVE
- A Personal Winner’s Diploma with a registration ID number
- A Recommendation Letter from the International Jury and the French cultural diplomacy association WE ARE THE WORLD EVENTS
- A Medal for participants attending the Awards Ceremony in person
- Publication of the young artist’s photo, artwork and information on our social media and website
The names of the winners will be published on the official website and social media channels of the project.
Parents and art schools may also send short videos or photographs of children creating their artworks. Selected content may be shared in our stories, together with a short video presentation of the young artist and their artwork.

If you cannot come to Paris in person, your participation can still be recognized. We will send your diplomas and certificates by email in high-quality, print-ready format.
We will also share photographs and video material from the exhibition and the Awards Ceremony.
