International Exhibition WE ARE THE WORLD and the New Year Ball at “Astana Opera.”

Dear parents, representatives of art studios and schools!

We are pleased to inform you about an exciting international event that will be a bright moment in the creative lives of young artists! 

We invite you to participate in the International Children’s Art Exhibition “WE ARE THE WORLD,” with an award ceremony, red carpet and a magical New Year Ball, which will take place on December 20, 2025, at 1:30 PM at the magnificent theater of Kazakhstan’s capital, “Astana Opera.”

For the second time, the direction of Astana Opera invites the International cultural diplomacy association of WE ARE THE WORLD EVENTS, Paris, France to Kazakhstan. The event will be held in the main hall of the theater on December 20 at 1.30 PM-4.00 PM.

We are the World is a prestigious international exhibition of children’s Art that, since 2018, has united talented children from 60 countries worldwide.
We are the World identifies and supports young artists, allowing them to showcase their works in prestigious halls across different countries. The exhibitions have been held twice at Carrousel du Louvre (Paris, France), National Opera Astana (Kazakhstan), House of Nationalities, National Museum of Cosmonautics (Moscow, Russia), World Summit of Nobel Laureates (Seoul, South Korea), Ornate White Cube (London, UK), Opus Tower (Dubai, UAE), three times at the State Palace of Children and Youth (Minsk, Belarus), Sofitel Beverly Hills (Los Angeles, USA), Cultural Center of the Kazakh Embassy in France (Paris, France), Sofitel Paris Le Foubourg (Paris, France), Sofitel Saint James (London, UK), i-City (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), Yun Artified Art Center (Jakarta, Indonesia), Lis Flower Hotel (Hsinchu, Taiwan), Art Gallery Vivienne (Paris, France), White Art Gallery (Los Angeles, USA), and the list continues to grow.

At our exhibitions and contests, children have the opportunity to showcase their talent to the whole world, which positively influences their personal development and self-confidence. Additionally, participating in our events helps them build a portfolio for admission to prestigious universities.
We believe that the best gift we can give our children is opportunities and education.

Our exhibitions have hosted renowned artists, the Sheikh of Dubai, cosmonaut V. I. Tokarev, the family of Y. Gagarin, representatives of governments from various countries, officials from ministries of culture, education, and foreign affairs, international organizations (UNESCO, UNICEF), ambassadors, and representatives of embassies from different nations.
And the brightest stars of our exhibitions are, of course, the children.

For We Are the World, it will be an honor to hold the international exhibition at Astana Opera for the second time and to visit this wonderful country once again, especially since children from Kazakhstan have participated in our exhibitions multiple times and often become winners of our art contest.

Inspiring theme and freedom of creativity!

This year, we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, and the theme of our exhibition is “We Are the World.”
Let your child’s imagination run free!  But we can give you some ideas. May their works reflect ideas of Peace, International connections, culture, traditions, friendship, Protection of the animals, environmental protection, human rights, and sustainable development.
Or perhaps they will be inspired by Theater, performances, ballet, or opera? This theme will be very relevant at “Astana Opera.”

Participants’ age groups: from 5 to 17 years old (5-9 years, 10-13 years, 14-17 years, and students over 18).

Format: A4 or A3 (thick watercolor paper, canvas, or digital art).

Materials: Pencil, marker, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, ink, oil, gouache, or digital art — anything that inspires your young artist!

Participation conditions: simple and convenient!

To participate: you need to fill out the form and register your artwork on our official website www.wearetheworldevents.com, and we will take care of everything else:

• Print the works on premium-quality paper.
• Adjust the size of the artwork, print a label with the artist’s information and a personal ID number.
• Frame in stylish black frames.
• Prepare for exhibition display.

Participation fee: The organizational fee is €65 and includes all of the above, as well as an international participant certificate and the opportunity to receive a medal at the award ceremony (for participants who attend the ceremony in person) and gifts from our partners.

Winners will receive a winner’s diploma, a recommendation letter from the international jury and the French cultural diplomacy association, medals for participants who attend the ceremony in person, and gifts from our partners.
The names of the winners will be posted on the website and social media of the project.
Parents and art schools can send us short videos and photos of children at work. We will publish them in our stories.

Important dates:
Application deadline: November 15, 2025.
Results announcement on social media: November 25-28, 2025.
Award ceremony: December 20, 2025, at 1:30 PM at “Astana Opera.”
