Exhibition in Astana Opera – November 2022
On November 13, 2022, the official opening and award ceremony of the international exhibition of children’s drawings We are the World took place at the Astana Opera. The project was founded by Stephanie Gaspard, President of the Association for Cultural Diplomacy in 2018, and to date, drawings from more than 40 countries have become participants in the project. Events are held in such cities as Paris (twice in the Louvre), Los Angeles, Beijing, Minsk, Dubai, Moscow, Seoul.
Exhibitions We are the World were recognized in Los Angeles as the most prestigious exhibitions of children’s art in the world. The exhibition is held in Kazakhstan for the first time. The event was organized by the international association of cultural diplomacy We are the World events with the support of the French Embassy in Kazakhstan.
Ardak Mukhamadieva, representative of We are the World in Kazakhstan with her team, did a great job to make this event unforgettable. More than 200 works of children from all over the world were presented in the exhibition. The children of Kazakhstan took an active part in the exhibition and adequately represented their country.
Among the guests of honor were: the representative of the French Embassy in the Republic of Kazakhstan Xavier Le Torivellec, the Chairman of the International Information Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Zhan Serzhanovich Galiev, the Embassies of the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, India, representatives of UNICEF, the UNESCO club. Young singers and musicians performed during the exhibition. We sincerely thank the management of the Astana Opera Theatre,
